Little Taonga Pounamu Toki

These Toki are made from an assorted Inanga variety of stone. We have collaborated with West Coast carvers Ironpan Studios to bring you these stunning, one of a kind taonga.
Pounamu is a treasured stone with valuable and spiritual significance. Pounamu was orogianlly used by Māori to show status and make peace. 

Toki - Fashioned from stone or greenstone, the Toki (adze) was an essential tool for survival and day to day life of a Maori tribe. Maori attribute the spiritual meaning of strength and power to the Toki, a symbol of determination, control, strength, focus and hope.

Each necklace is strung with a thick adjustable cord.
