Koru Whale Bone Necklace
Tupou Carvers

Beautiful Koru design. This unique piece is carved from sperm whale jaw bone found on the shores of the Far North of New Zealand. The Koru represents the fern frond as it opens. It is a symbol of new life, growth and new beginnings.
Hand-carved by Sitiveni Tupou, a Tongan-born artist based in New Zealand. Tupou has been carving bone since the age of 14, learning from his father, a master with over 40 years of experience. Each piece reflects Pacific traditions, blending his skill, cultural heritage, and artistic talents to create beautiful carvings.
