Manaia - the spiritual guardian, representing the earth, sky and sea. 

Koru -Literally meaning ‘curl’, these taonga depict an unfurling fern frond. In Māori culture, the young shoots of the fern symbolise new life, growth, rejuvenation and new beginnings.
