Crafted from quality leather this statement neckpiece emanates nostalgic charm. Drawing inspiration from the traditional patterns seen in Māori meeting houses and the intricate designs of Tā moko. This piece blendsclassic Māori flair with contemporary aesthetics.
The result is a fusion of the modern and the timeless, exuding authenticity and cultural significance.
Central to the design are three figures, each inspired by traditional Māori wood carving. It tells the tale of the separation of Papatuanuku, the earth mother, and Ranginui, the sky father. Their separation ushered in the first light, marking the beginning of the world.
With an adjustable finish this piece can be worn as a choker, hanging low and anywhere in between. 17.5cm at widest point across, 7cm wide at centre of piece.
